If you go to the Google.com homepage now, you will see a stylish drawing of the opening ceremony of Vancouver 2010 Olympics which is unusually stretched right the way across the screen. I might be wrong, but I actually don’t remember seeing anything like that in Google before.
They have definitely done a lot of doodles for Olympics in the past, but usually all their doodles has a very similar look and feel & size. If you go through them, they all pretty much look like a mash-up of their official logo, but this stretched logo looks like a big design change to me.
If you notice closely, the logo boasts an Olympic flame in place of the letter “l”, and a small print of the Olympic rings.
So what do you think of this logo/design change?
