Yahoo has started once again its take on digital advertising with a brand new platform called APT from Yahoo. This digital advertising solution was previously announced as AMP. APT from Yahoo aims to make the processing of buying and selling of online ads faster and it hopes to network publishers, advertisers, agencies, networks, partners and developers together under one roof. Jon Hamm, star of the AMC Drama Mad Men which is based on a 1940s ad firm, was on hand to celebrate. This really excited Yahoo’s CEO Jerry Yang.

Sergey Brin’s Blog

Google’s co-founder Sergey Brin has recently started a personal blog on google’s very own blogging platform – Blogger. The blog URL is: too.blogspot.com.

“While Google is a play on googol, too is a play on the much smaller number – two. It also means in addition, as this blog reflects my life outside of work,” says Sergey.

Minutes after he has published his first post, he shared something very tragic and personal:

For more than 20 years, my mother has worked with computers at NASA. So, when she developed a pain in her hands the diagnosis seemed easy — Repetitive Stress Injury. Except that it wasn’t so easy. As her mysterious symptoms progressed it varied — RSI, fibromyalgia (unexplained pain), Lyme Disease, and so forth. It was only after visits to many specialists over a number of years that the diagnosis settled — Parkinson’s Disease. Since there is no clear test for Parkinson’s — it is defined by its symptoms — we only grew certain as those symptoms developed and as her medications began to alleviate them.

So its like 1 result space has been cut into two columns and each displaying one video that is directly linked to youtube. Check the highlighted portion in the screen shoot:

I am not sure since when they are actually displaying two videos in the place of one, but it seems like a new implementation (At least in my region – Malaysia).
